Yes we do! I would be happy to get an appointment scheduled for you.
We are in network with two! EyeMed and VSP. Are you familiar with one of those?
We are in network with EyeMed, however the CareSource plan is one we do not take.
An appointment is not necessary, but we would prefer to put you on the schedule to have an optician ready to help you.
To help ensure we can provide each patient with the time and attention they deserve, we limit scheduling to two family members per day. This also helps us minimize last minute openings and keep our schedule running smoothly. We’re happy to help arrange additional family members on another day that works best for you.
As long as the prescription is not expired and has a doctor’s signature, we can use that for your glasses.
Depending on your prescription, we do have some lenses in store that we can get cut for you the same day of your appointment.
Yes, only a few of our frames need specialty tools.
It typically takes about 14 business days for your glasses to be ready.
I am familiar with that brand. Here at ForSight, we specialize in niche independent handmade eyewear and do not carry the designer brands found in box stores.
Unfortunately, the 30% discount is just for you. But we would love to help your husband in a nice pair of glasses he really likes and will enjoy.
Unfortunately no, but if you have a picture of the frame you have in mind, I know that we can find the perfect frame to fit your style and get close to that design.
Thank you for your question. We would be happy to measure your pupillary distance, also known as PD, for you. Please note that there is a $50 fee for this service, which also includes verifying your measurements if needed, especially when ordering glasses online. While ordering eyewear online can be convenient, there are some important considerations. In store, you have the opportunity to try on frames to ensure proper fit and comfort. Additionally, our licensed opticians carefully inspect each pair of glasses to confirm that your prescription has been accurately crafted. We also provide personalized, one on one assistance to help you select eyewear that best suits your needs and preferences, something that is often missing when purchasing online.
The length of your exam depends on what you and your eyes need. More medical or prescription issues means a longer exam. After your routine exam, an optician will take you from the room and go over all of your vision plan benefits and style options for you as well.
Yes, we can put a prescription into your own glasses. However, we would first need to inspect the frame to ensure it is in good condition. Please note that there is a risk the frame could be damaged during the lab process. Because of this, you would be required to sign a waiver before we proceed with the order, and a $50 edging fee will be added to the invoice. While we take every precaution, we cannot be held responsible for any damage to the frame.
We would love to take a look at your glasses and see if it’s something our opticians could repair. There is a $25 fee for that service.
You actually have 3 layers that make a balanced tear film: oil, water, and mucus. If you are not producing or excreting enough of the oil layer, your tears evaporate too quickly. In response, the eyes overproduce the water layer and this gives you the sensation of crying while, in fact, your eyes are dry.
Yes! We would start with a basic dry eye evaluation to see what exactly your eyes need, and there are several treatment plans our doctors could recommend.
Yes, everything will be available in your patient portal. Prescription, invoices, and chart notes.
We have optometrists in office that can perform routine and health checks of the eyes, but do not perform surgery.
Yes, we have our ForSight Discount Program, which offers 25% off the first pair and 30% off the second. We also have 35% off all non prescription sunglasses. If you have a vision plan, we can give you the pricing for both to see what benefits you.
The Optomap imaging is a non optional portion of the exam. It is crucial for the doctor to be able to examine the health of the back of your eyes.
I completely understand wanting to keep it simple. The prescription is actually part of the comprehensive exam, not a separate service. The doctor needs to evaluate your vision and eye health together to ensure the prescription is accurate and safe to release.
Great question! Even if your prescription has felt stable, eye prescriptions legally expire because your eyes and overall eye health can change without noticeable symptoms. A comprehensive exam allows the doctor to confirm your prescription is still accurate and, more importantly, check for any early signs of eye health concerns. We want to make sure you’re seeing your best and staying healthy.
If you would like to order more contact lenses, you will need a new contact lens fitting to update that prescription. Just like glasses, we need an active prescription to place an order, and that prescription expires one year after the exam.
We understand how important your glasses are to you. Once glasses have been paid for and processing has begun, we are unable to offer refunds. We have a No Refund policy. Each pair is custom made to your individual prescription and fitted specifically for you, making them unique and not resellable.
We do have one provider that sees children. Dr. Keller is in the office on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We like to see children 8 and under either at the last appointment before lunch or the last appointment of the day. Children 8 and under will need to be dilated. Unfortunately, we are not in network with Medicaid, but we can still see your child under the ForSight Vision Program. Our exam is $160.
In order to give your children the best experience possible, we only see children under 8 as the last appointment of the morning or last of the afternoon.
Kids’ eyes usually need to be dilated during an exam because it gives a much more accurate and complete picture of their vision, prescription, and eye health.
The frames start at $200 to $1,000. What is your budget? We do have a fabulous and affordable package to fit everyone’s needs as well.
Dr. Morrow will go over all pricing with you in office after she determines what lens will be the best fit for you and your eyes.
Unfortunately, everything does have to be paid in full before we can process the order. We do offer Klarna and CareCredit options. Would you like to try either one?
We estimate 10 to 12 business days, but some specialty lenses can require up to 14 as they are custom made.
It is not based on how many times you have worn the lenses, but how long they have been open and exposed to the environment. Once opened, the material begins to break down when exposed to air, light, and us touching the lenses. Cleaning the lenses does not sterilize them, and there are still protein deposits and bacteria left on the lenses from wearing them, which gives a much higher risk of infection.
Water isn’t sterile. It has a high amount of bacteria and microorganisms. Soft contacts are like sponges and they absorb water, causing the lenses to swell and trap this bacteria within the lenses.
If you need to reach Dr. Morrow after business hours please call our main office at 912-483-6600. Our voicemail will prompt you to dial #1 for emergencies which will transfer your call directly to Dr. Morrow’s cell phone.
