I’ve worn glasses since I was a kid—and I’ve always believed they should be more than just a prescription. They should be your favorite accessory. Something that turns heads, matches your vibe, and earns you compliments for days.
In August 2019, I opened ForSight to bring that belief to life. I wanted to reimagine what eye care could be: deeply personal, rooted in community, and packed with personality. From the very beginning, my mission has been to combine next-level care with a curated collection of unique, high-quality frames you won’t find anywhere else. Because when you feel good in your glasses, it shows.
Built on Passion, Driven by Purpose
As the 100% owner and main provider at ForSight, I don’t take shortcuts when it comes to care or style. My team and I are here to make sure every person who walks through our doors feels seen—literally and figuratively. We’re not just selling glasses. We’re helping you express who you are.
How I Stay Grounded (and Energized)
Every day starts with a little wiggle, a deep breath, and a moment of gratitude. I check in with three goals—whether big dreams or daily tasks—and visualize myself already crushing them. That mindset shift has been a game changer: show up on purpose, lead with heart, and the rest will follow.
A Business with Heart (and Local Roots)
I live and breathe shopping local because I know how powerful it is. Supporting local keeps dollars in the community, builds real relationships, and helps people feel heard. That’s what ForSight is all about—connection, care, and community, one incredible pair of glasses at a time.
The Moment I Knew I Was Doing the Right Thing
A patient once told me, “This is the best eye exam I’ve ever had—and the coolest pair of glasses I’ve ever owned.” That’s when it hit me: I’m not just running a business. I’m creating a space where people feel empowered, stylish, and totally seen. And that’s the magic I get to share every single day.
Educational Journey and Professional Excellence
My academic path laid the foundation for the care I provide today:
Bachelor of Science in Biology: Graduated cum laude from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2012.
Doctorate of Optometry and Master of Vision Science: Earned with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2016. During my time there, I was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and actively participated as an officer in several student organizations.
My clinical training included an externship in ocular disease at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center and a primary eye care rotation at a private practice in Birmingham, Alabama, where I was recognized as an outstanding clinician in Ocular Disease.
